About us

We are an affordable, volunteer run, friendly family community tennis club, located within Mill Lane Recreation Ground in Hurst Green, Oxted. Our venue includes two all-weather floodlit tennis courts, a recently refurbished members' clubhouse with a lounge, changing area, toilet and kitchen facilities.

Our club is surrounded by greenery and recreational facilities, including the Holland Sports and Social Club, trim trail, athletics track, football pitches and a multisports court, an outdoor gym, a children's playground and a skate /BMX park. With plentiful parking also available, this all makes for a beautiful place to play tennis.

We have members who are based locally within Hurst Green and Oxted, and also those who travel from further afield, such as Edenbridge and Westerham. The club hosts weekly mix in sessions where Members are invited to play friendly doubles games and there is a coaching programme for juniors, beginner and intermediate adult levels.  The Club enters doubles teams into the local Weald League and hosts its own doubles and singles competitions for members.  Our social calendar includes picnics, an annual dinner and quizzes.

Please note that our courts are not accessible or open to the general public (except for special club days).

Our courts were re-surfaced in July 2022 along with secure perimeter fencing, in a modernisation project which will benefit the local community for years to come.
